Yes folks, the celebrations are in full swing here at Red Kite Studios as news arrives of The Imp's first UK screen debut.

Well it's been a busy few months for everyone here at Red Kite what with the frantic switching of flights to try and avoid our ash spewing neighbourhood volcano and visits to MIPTV and Cartoons on the Bay where Marvo was nominated for a Pulcinella award.

Sueann Smith, our Head of Production here at Red Kite, has been promoted!!

Red Kite has started development work on a new girls based property, "Wendy".

The ex-children's laureate, Michael Rosen, comes on board for the development of Red Kite's project, The Adventures of Bradley.

Jim, the Red Kite workshops coordinator appears on BBC Radio Scotland!!

Marvo the Wonder Chicken has been nominated at Cartoons on the Bay and at Annecy.

Yes, okay, it's nearly February, but after all this cold weather, the computers have just thawed out so we thought we should share some news.

We are very excited to announce that Dennis and Gnasher have menaced their way all the way down under.

We are thrilled to announce that we have started work on an exciting new preschool show, ‘The Adventures of Bradley' alongside Dundee based company, Hungry Boy Productions. The series will follow Bradley, a young boy who is magically transported into the world of the folk tales, as described in the travel journal of his Great Grandfather, who was an intrepid explorer.

So, it's been a whirlwind couple of weeks as our intrepid trio braved MIPCOM. Ken, Sueann and John attended the market this year with their meeting schedules packed to the gills and the suntan lotion stuffed in their bags.
